About this role

To support our team, we are looking for an IT Specialist (m/f/d) 100% for our location in the USA or remotely from January 2025 or by arrangement.

Your mission

• Supporting and training end users with IT problems
• Diagnosis and solution of hardware and software problems 
• Managing and maintaining networks and server systems 
• Identifying and analysing business requirements for IT support
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities for business processes
• Collaboration and coordination in IT projects 
• Creating and maintaining project documentation and user manuals 
• Implementing and monitoring security measures 
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the IT area
• Maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and communicating effectively with stakeholders

Your profile

• Sound knowledge of hardware and software diagnostics and solutions 
• Experience with network administration and server systems
• Understanding of business processes and business requirements 
• Ability to develop and implement IT solutions for process optimisation 
• Experience in working on and coordinating IT projects 
• Ability to create and maintain project documentation 
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to quickly diagnose and solve IT problems 
• Strong communication and presentation skills 
• Ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable way 
• Ability to collaborate with different teams and departments 
• Proactive and co-operative approach to work 
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High resilience and stress resistance

Your skills

• Experience with Fortigate and its peripheral systems 
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) 
• Salesforce experience at administration/consulting level
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra-ID (IAM) and Azure  
• Very good written and spoken English and German skills

The requirements

• Completed training in computer science or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT support or IT project work
• High affinity for security and network topics
• Experience in the implementation of ISO 27001 / NIS-2 / TISAX is an advantage
